Pierced Hemisphere is an eyewear frame sculpture inspired by Barbara Hepworth ART. MASSADA collaboration with Valentina Brugnatelli, Genève based designer. Design, like in original “Pierced Hemisphere” sculpture, brings a third space element. Solid frame is carved out qualitatively in a differentiated raw biomorphic groove . Transparent acetate colors point to simultaneity of overlapping spaces within the frame. It is a geometric play towards pure form. Temples are in the form of displaced, shifted ellipsoids shaped as geoids pierced in half. That brings kinetic metaphysical dimension to the time-space reflection in its design of experience as a space-structured process.
